A look at Critical Path Method scheduling. The preferred method of tracking job costs and progress in the federal construction world. We will talk at length about how a CPM schedule is developed. We will also look at what information goes into a CPM schedule and why using the Critical Path Method has become the industry standard for project administration

July 15, 2020 at 3:00 PM EST - P6 Software Demo

Part two of our scheduling series. We will do a live, practical demo of how the Critical Path Method is actualized using scheduling software developed specifically for tracking construction progress. Primavera P6 is the largely preferred software used in federal construction project management. We will take a look at how a schedule is built with the latest P6 model. We will talk about the benefits of using Primavera P6 as an administrative tool.

July 20, 2020 at 3:00 PM EST - Time Impact Analysis

We will be discussing the steps to take when analyzing delays on a construction project. By conducting a Time Impact Analysis, the conversation for a delay claim can be focused on a mathematically calculated number of days that a project has been impacted by a specific event. We will go through how this number of days is calculated and what information is needed to create the analysis. We will also discuss how you can better prepare yourself for claims before the event occurs.


July 22, 2020 at 3:00 PM EST - RMS 3.0

During this webinar, we will be exploring the use of RMS 3.0 in federal contracts. RMS 3.0 is the program utilized by some branches of the government to track the progress of construction projects. We will detail out the process of using RMS to track the project schedule, submittals, pay activities, insurance, subcontracts, documentation, daily reports, etc.

July 27, 2020 at 3:00 PM EST - Government Procurement

In this webinar, we will be discussing the process of procuring materials and services for a federal project. We will discuss the limitations that are put on federal contacts. We will talk about why these restrictions are put in place, the history of the process and changes that are being implemented to the way procurement is accomplished for federal work.
